COMMENT from Tim Bishop on Jun 2, 2010 I was a bit hesitant at first when contemplating installing reclaimed wood at my home. I just wasn't sure that old, reclaimed wood could be brought back to life and look like I wanted in my home. But I viewed what Mike's work look like installed and all polished up and I was sold. I was (and still am) blown away by how fresh and clean it all looks. Yet it maintains a lot of character. I am so glad I didn't go for the corporate, pre-fab-it-all-looks-the same stuff. Of course the best part is I am doing my small part for the environment. These wood floors are certainly the highlight of my home and just adds so much to the overall ambiance. I know it was a great investment. I can already envision the Realtor showing my home to some young couple and how blown away the will be by these floors. I can't recommend Mike and his services highly enough. He turned a doubter into a true believer. Post (and email) a response |

COMMENT from brandynne on May 21, 2010 I put Mike's longleaf pine floors in every bedroom of my house. I LOVE IT!!! It immediately gave the house a lovely and solid, interesting feeling. The grain and patina is gorgeous. Every board is unique and I feel great that I purchased a recycled American product that could have ended up in the landfill. I wish I could have torn my tile floors out. I would have put longleaf pine in every room. Thank you This Old Wood. I would send business your way any time. Post (and email) a response |
