COMMENT from Garrett Wicklund on Jun 18, 2009 Hello my name is Garrett Wicklund. I read about what you all do. I think it's great that you rescue big cats from abuse. I have always wanted a chance to work around or get a chance to help out with caring or big cats. I really would like to come to your refuge and get a chance to feed and care for the cats there. COMMENT from Becky on Jul 15, 2004 I went on a tour of Big Cat Rescue about 5 years ago and was so impressed with the way the animals were taken care of and the message that the volunteers were giving to the public, that I started volunteering about 2 weeks later. I have been there 5 years and I feel that it is the best place in the world to see the cats and to learn about their situation in the world today and what we can do to help save the cats that are left. COMMENT from Cathy on Jul 14, 2004 Big Cat Rescue is a great place to volunteer. The need is so big that you can always find a way to make a difference. There are so few places that genuinely love the creatures that they care for. BCR is one of those places. It is a true sanctuary, a place that not only is a haven for the exotic animals it cares for, but also a haven for the animal lover that wants to give their efforts to a worthwhile cause. COMMENT from kris weekley on Apr 8, 2003 Wildlife on Easy Street is one of the best sanctuaries I've visited. They are very thought concious of the animals on their property and do what they believe is best for them. I find it a real perk that they let people in to view their animals, and it helps finance a fairly expensive operation. They also have a bed and breakfast and all kinds of different tours. Worth the money, and a totally cool place. Post (and email) a response |
