They are prompt, thorough, delightfully friendly, well-informed, and highly instructive. We met with Veronica at first, but she was a little out of our price range, so we went with one of her apprentices, Lidia. All I can say is that I honestly don't know how we would have gotten through the last three months without her -- I knew NOTHING about babies before having one of my own. And now, at 12 weeks, our daughter can sleep 11-12 hours solid at night, and my husband and I are pros at swaddling, feeding, bathing, naptime, etc. We would highly recommend Veronica and Lidia to any new parents. Even my Mother-in-Law loved her -- and believe me, that is some HIGH PRAISE. I’m a Westside mom who was in need of a post- operative care (even though this was not an infant care related need, I thought people in this business would be kind, courteous and caring with another human being in need). Services were amazingly professional. More important,ly reliable, trustworthy and dependable. I needed someone to interface with the medical staff and to be competent in case I couldn’t. COMMENT from Danah   on Aug 27, 2014    I hired Veronica as my Postpartum Doula and Twins Specialist knowing that the baby nurse that I had hired to help me had to cancel at the last minute due to a family emergency, I did some research and found Veronica's contact information online and called her right away. Veronica answered my phone call and came over to meet me that same day. I felt relieved and reassured as soon as I met Veronica and sat with her, she had a lot of experience with twins and so many credentials that I felt very comfortable and hired her on the spot. Veronica even gave me a list of the baby products and gear that I would need at the beginning. Veronica was at home and settled before I arrived from the hospital. I felt that I could relax and recover from my c section knowing that the babies were in capable hands. Veronica fed, bathed and took care of everything that had to do with the babies. I even got weekly massages from her which were very relaxing. Before she left Veronica made sure that she explained everything she was doing so I could feel comfortable caring for my twins after she left, she also taught me how to give a baby massage to help with gas problems. I would definitely recommend Veronica as a post partum doula. COMMENT from S. Hassa   on Aug 8, 2014    I went from Washington Dc to LA to deliver my 3rd child. With a new newborn,I had to travel back to Washington. I decided to take Veronica with the family. Veronica took impeccable care of the baby at the airport during the entire check in/security (3 hours) and duration of the flight. The baby didn't even cry once! & seemed very comfortable on her arm for almost 11 hours straight. It was amazing how Veronica handled the entire journey with a great sense of humor. Veronica was extremely professional in the care of our baby. I was assisted on the various ways to ensure that the baby latches on and given tremendous support on overall lactation issues. This was a difficult learning process & I could not have managed without Veronica’s assistance. Veronica always makes sure that the bottles are properly cleaned and with the free time available, also manages to do the baby’s laundry & even helps in the kitchen and gets the time to interact with my other 2 daughters ages 5 & 2. As a Postpartum Doula, she did a great job looking for the well-being of the whole family as a unit. My other 2 daughters learned a little bit of Spanish in her short visit with us which was amazing. Veronica is highly energized, fits her schedule to accommodate the needs of the mother and loves working with infants. COMMENT from April Lee   on Dec 31, 2012    As a new mom there are so many tips and products out there that you easily get lost/ confused. Veronica's tips and advice as well as her presence helped me find ways to help my baby. Also her assistance with developing a schedule will be beneficial for the months to come. The most benefitial aspect of her services was that I got the rest after months of interrupted sleep. I learned trick on how to put my baby to sleep for longer streches and how to swaddle so my baby does not scape! Veronica would speak with my baby as he were her own! She provided me with the security of knowing my baby was in good hands while I slept which was so important . She assisted me with nursing techniques, gave good advice, and was very loving with our son. I thought it might feel weird having someone stay over in our home, but she put me at ease right away and was very professional and comforting. I was impressed with her organization and professionalism. I would highly recommend Veronica and definitely use her again in the future. Post (and email) a response
