COMMENT from Rick   on Jan 15, 2015    Veronica brought peace, happiness, stability and warmth into our home at a time when we needed it. Our child was born three months premature and we needed a Newborn Specialist (Baby nurse) who not only had all of the necessary skills and experience but also could give us confidence that all would be okay. Veronica did this from the first day she arrived in our home. She had answers to every one of our questions and made us feel secure that all would be okay in caring for our child. She taught us new things which were extremely valuable that we hadn't learned from previous Baby nurses we had with our other children. We cannot recommend Veronica enough. Her professionalism and 24/7 commitment is exemplary and I could not imagine a better experience for me and for my wife. We will forever be grateful to Veronica. Post (and email) a response

COMMENT from Scott Saez   on Oct 20, 2013    Veronica is a lifesaver! We Hired her as our Postpartum Doula and Baby Nurse. When my wife and I learned that her father suffered a heart attack and her parents were unable to be with us following the birth of our daughter, I researched Baby Nurses and Post-Partum Doulas in Santa Monica and thankfully found Veronica, even though she was already booked through the year at nights , she was able to accommodate her days off for us and her day hours. She met with us that day in our hospital room and mobilized to provide us with much needed round-the clock support during our first week at home. Veronica quickly got her on a good sleep schedule, sleeping 3- 4 hours at a stretch! She clearly cared for and was very affectionate with our daughter. She went above and beyond and was always available for extra hours if needed. She brought us a cake and flowers for my husband’s graduation, and helped get our baby dressed for pictures. Veronica was hard working and made our life with baby so much easier at night that we were able to enjoy our daughter instead of being constantly exhausted. COMMENT from Christine Gilmore   on Jul 18, 2011    My husband Michael and myself contracted Veronica for 3 months. We delivered in November a baby boy " Tyson". Veronica was simply amazing. She kept in touch with me throughout my pregnancy. She followed up with me more frequently as my due date arrived. Ty was our third child and really wanted the help at night so we could still be wonderful parents to our little girls. This was very, very important to us, specially getting him sleeping through the night. Veronica was a very, very caring and supportive Baby Nurse. She worked with not only me in feeling better, getting adequate rest, helping me with scheduling Tyson, breastfeeding him, the list is endless! She was a fabulous resource for where to purchase everything for Ty..everything. She was just a joy to have in our home....Always on time, caring, loving, funny and Tyson adored her!. I absolutely adore her! She was more than professional and more than I could have ever hoped for in a Baby Nurse. I would highly recommend Veronica. COMMENT from Lora A.   on Aug 11, 2010    We had the pleasure of working with Veronica Stang for two weeks. We called her to help us with our baby boy who wasn’t sleeping at night. He was waking at least 4-5 times a night. By the end of two weeks with Veronica, our baby was waking only twice a night and now two weeks later (continuing with the schedule she set for him) he’s waking only once a night. We could have never done this without her. “ We were very clear with Veronica that we didn’t want our baby to “cry it out” in order to “train” him to sleep through the night. She never left him alone and she was so caring and loving. The transition for him was done in a very gentle way and we were extremely pleased with her methods. Our baby had a huge smile every night when Veronica walked in the door. We were a bit nervous about handing him off at night, but after the first night we knew he was in great hands. She treated him as he were her own child. We felt at ease right away. At the end of the two weeks we were so sad to see Veronica go. COMMENT from Jeannine Morris   on Jun 8, 2010     Veronica arrived the day we returned home from the hospital and stayed for a total of 4 weeks. As I sit here and write this recommendation for Veronica, I cannot begin to express my utter gratitude for all that she did for both me and my whole family. She cared for our baby 12 hours a day, seven days a week and never showed signs of being tired. She also served as my postpartum Doula, making sure that I was rested, ate appropriately and assisted in breastfeeding. In regards to the care of our infant, she is by far the most caring, patient, knowledgeable person I have ever met. Veronica took care of every aspect of her care during the entire 4 weeks which included baby massage. She also kept detailed records of the baby’s schedule so we knew exactly where to pick up when she left. Veronica is also a wonderful resource for new products and online information for the baby. I felt like no question or concern was unjustified and her knowledge of the care for children is unsurpassed. Even now after she has left, I feel that I can give her a call when I have a doubt or concern about the baby and she is happy to talk things through with me. You would think that in the 4 weeks she was with us that the infant would take all of her time, but somehow Veronica made time to spend with our two other children who felt like she was part of the family. From the time we signed our contract with her she provided us with information, tips, and suggestions to help us prepare for our little one. In the weeks leading up to our daughter’s arrival, Veronica coached us in birthing techniques and educated us in the stages of Labor. Because of her labor support and valuable information I was confident and calm enough to have a drug free all natural birth. My labor lasted less that 5 hours and I was able to spend most of the time in the comfort of my home and not the hospital. My husband and I especially appreciated the time Veronica provided us to recover and rest after arriving home. By the end of our time with her, Veronica had established a routine of feedings, naps, baths and, play time leaving us feeling like confident, experienced parents. I cannot imagine trusting anyone other than Veronica to come into our home and be a part of such special time in our lives, Not only is he the best at what she does, she is warm hearted, sincere and loving. We interviewed countless people and Veronica quickly set herself apart from the other night Nurses and Doulas with her professionalism, services and the advice she offered. She has taught me a great deal about caring for my son and caring for myself while I have a newborn. Veronica is an intelligent and motivated individual. One of her services Veronica provides is massage therapy. After a long day caring for my son, a massage is just what a tense new mother needs but the very last thing she has time for during her hectic day. Veronica makes the massage possible by offering it at one of her services. I consider myself an expert in massage, having enjoyed massages at spas across the country and, indeed, around the world, and would rank Veronica with the very best. That I was able to have the massage with Veronica in my home with my newborn son a feet away just a few weeks after undergoing a difficult c- section is a remarkable gift and I feel blessed to have Veronica in our home. There is nothing more important than caring for your newborn child and in order to do it well, you have to take care of yourself. Veronica has helped me do that.
