COMMENT from Steve relaying information from Olive Green Dog on Jan 29, 2008 Regarding the leather collar Barbar writes: Les of Ruff Stuff, are the makers of the Elan collar. I can personally vouch for the vendors with whom we work. All are Mom and Pop operations based out of Canada or EU, none of the collars are made in China. All subscribe to ethical animal and human treatment practices and fair trade tenets. Ultimately, Olive hopes to bring many more products to market that subscribe to a strict green code--recycled leather, materials, etc. Sadly, as you noted, the mass pet market is not there yet.
