COMMENT from Alan on Jan 25, 2012 Great place for an informative vacation on green living. The host built their own solar-powered home in the backwoods of North Idaho. They practice self-sufficient living by growing most of their own food, using a rain water catchment system, composting toilets and living with the rhythms of nature.
