The person handling email orders was very knowledgeable and friendly and helped me get what I wanted. I asked for a highly figured wood for the table top with lots of grain. That is what I got. No real problems with the order, shipment, or delivery. Only one small complaint. They do not have enough variety of stains but I was able to select one of four that was alomost what we wanted. The set is beautiful and we really like the quality and craftsmanship. Well worth the wait and money spent. Post (and email) a response

I ordered in the middle of March 2011 and they were in my home before Easter. The quality of the workmanship can only be described as Craftsmanship. The fit and finish were outstanding. Showing the care and pride taken by the professional who crafted these tables. Wood quality (I ordered in Cherry) is superior to anything I've seen in any furniture gallery. Shipping is handled with the utmost care. When they were scheduled to deliver my furniture, they were on time (if not a bit early). The crew was friendly and professional. I did not need to clean up after them, they took all the packing materials with them. Customer service was handled by a very friendly and knowledgeable staff that worked with the customer to assure any special requirements are met. E-mails about the status of my order were timely and kept me informed. The pricing of the furniture simply beats out any store I've looked in. For all the quality and craftsmanship that was put into making these tables for me, the price could only be described as an extreme value. If you are looking for high quality furnishings for your home, shop with Vermont Wood Studios. I will be a repeat customer. Post (and email) a response

After much shopping for retail and custom furniture in my geographic area, I found Vermont Woods Studios on-line. My American Mission dressers in maple surpass my expectations! COMMENT from Susie   on Jan 8, 2011     We couldn’t be happier with our Vermont Woods Studio cherry bed. The craftsmanship shows in the beauty of the wood and careful, solid construction. We will purchase from them again. Vermont Woods Studio’s products are superior to what you will find in box-store and top-named brand furniture stores. Prior to purchasing our bed, we visited large and small furniture stores and discovered that all of the products were imported. The box store sales reps couldn’t tell us where the furniture was made or the origin of the wood. Plus, the box stores’ furniture wasn’t attractive and wasn’t made well (flimsy legs and weak platforms). The service we received from Vermont Woods Studio was superior and exceeded my expectations. We ordered our bed in early Nov '10, received immediate confirmation of our order, received a follow-up e-mail that our bed was being constructed, and an e-mail telling us that the bed was complete and to expect a call from the delivery company, and a follow-up e-mail asking us for feedback on the delivery and end product. It really was peace of mind to know that our internet order was taken and progressing. In addition, the bed was delivered in such a short amount of time - only six weeks after placing our order. I would highly recommend purchasing American-made furniture from the Vermont Woods studio craftsmen. It is so important that we support sustainable forestry practices and our American economy. In addition, the customer service was incredibly responsive and highly personalized. They went out of their way to help me when one of their artisans had so many orders that I was facing a long wait. They showed me a similar product from a new artisan working for them whose products weren't even on the website yet! We are loving the furniture we bought. Post (and email) a response

We wanted a lot of changes to the design and it was no problem for them. The delivery crew were very nice and did an excellent job of putting everything together for us.
