COMMENT from rob   on Apr 6, 2001    ah yes, green tree co-op. a quaint and quiet little store located in the downtown area of mt. pleasant. it is a wonderful place with a relaxed atmosphere and hosted by some beautiful individuals. i remember being able to go in there and see friendly faces and smiles, volunteer at miscellaneous tasks, and be allowed to make food or juice in exchange. i spent many an afternoon feeding my head with some of the books they had on hand, learning what i could about nutrition, organics, social issues, or all manner of important things. i am forever grateful to that wonderful co-op. stop in and say hi for me.
