  Houston needed a resource for artists, crafters, steampunkers and educators in search of high quality reclaimed materials. The Texas Art Asylum offers an ever-changing inventory of items to inspire creative reuse. Part crafts supply store, part thrift store, part salvage yard and part antique store, our inventory is collected from businesses, institutions and individuals who recognize that their materials are suitable for reuse, repurposing or upcycling.
