  Silver Needle & Thread Custom Sewing is located in the Orange Park and Greater Jacksonville, FL area.  Owner Patricia Davis has over 48 years of professional sewing experience.  Our dressmakers and seamstresses possess many years of experience in hand sewing one-of-a-kind garments to meet our clients personal, unique and specific needs.  Some of the garments we sew include work attire, resort, infant and children's, prom, special needs clothing, full figure sizing, christening/communion gowns and Bar/Bat Mitzvah.   We often sew and create clothes using sketches, photos and ideas. 

   

  We specialize in using organic and and natural fabrics to create all your custom sewing needs.  We are a full service custom sewing, dressmaking and fashion design company. Our goal is to provide our clients with well construced garments using the fabric, colors and styles they desire.  We are here to make your vision and dreams come true through the clothes you and your family wear all while protecting your health by using pure and natural fibers.  There are no limitations on what we can sew for you.

  We sell organic cotton, organic hemp, organic linen, organic wool, peace silk, raw silk, eco-friendly bamboo and many blends.  We take pride in sourcing a large amount of our fabrics from the United States.  We also seek out fair trade fabrics from abroad in our effort to support small farmers whom still believe in making a difference and protecting our earth.  Many of our fabrics are also GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standards) certified, the highest certification for textiles today.

  Why organic?  In order to produce the fabric no pesticides, herbicides or synthetic fertilizers are ever used; such practices eliminate thousands of harmful chemicals from entering our ground water, air and environment. Organic fabrics do not endanger your health, they feel good aganist your skin and have no toxic smells, chemical finishes or residue.  

  Our style selection is huge and our color options include hundreds of beautiful and vibrant shades offering you unimagined choices for creating a truly one-of-a-kind wardrobe or garment.
