  We are three farmers with a vision to provide our community with the best of our region’s bounty while caring for the earth, water, and people that make it all possible.ince our beginning days in 2002, we have made it a policy to examine our resource consumption and conserve water in our irrigation practices. In pursuit of sustainability and our own ecological consciousness, Freewheelin‘ works to decrease it’s petroleum consumption on all aspects of the farm: from reusing old drip tape year after year, to building farm structures with reclaimed lumber, and ultimately, as per our namesake, to delivering our local CSA shares by bicycle & trailer. Our CSA begins in May and continues through mid-November. We provide over 40 different crops over the 25 week season, bringing you 8-12 different items each week. We serve the Santa Cruz area all by bicycle and make weekly deliveries to San Francisco and the East Bay as well.
