     Cherry Valley Organics is a certified organic producer of several hundred varieties of vegetables, herbs, and specialty cut flowers, as well as a line of herbal products (including soaps, salves, vinegars, and herbal teas). The farm is based in Cherry Valley, Washington County, Pennsylvania, approximately 20 miles southwest of downtown Pittsburgh. We launched our small-scale CSA at our house in the Pittsburgh suburb of Crafton Borough in 2001, and expanded onto our current site in 2004. Unlike traditional “farm share” programs, our subscription service is entirely “a la carte” over an approximately 30-week-long season, with subscribers ordering off of a weekly menu, with no minimum order or any obligation to order every week. In addition, our products are available at various restaurants and specialty food stores in the Pittsburgh area.
