Women, Food and Agriculture Network was created in 1997 to link and empower
women to build food systems and communities that are healthy, just, sustainable,
and that promote environmental integrity. Our members come from all over the US
and several foreign countries. We are farmers, consumers, advocates, students,
researchers and policy-makers. WFAN offers a quarterly e-newsletter, monthly
e-bulletins, and periodic informational meetings mainly in the Midwest. We
collaborate with a broad network of organizations and individuals working on
similar goals around the US and the world.
