Welcome to our very unique mill, flour store, and bakery. We offer only locally
and sustainably grown foods so that each visitor can take part in the amazing
bounty that their own community can create. We grow grains without the use of
synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, in soil that has been enriched with green
manures and compost, by rotating crops and allowing the soil to rest. Our
chickens and turkeys live with freedom of movement and in a setting that is
natural to their species. Although you can't get hardware, textiles, laundry
soap or a barrel of pickles here, you can get food grown locally and without
chemical inputs. The NEW Gluten-Free Mill Store is NOW OPEN! We have freshly
milled GF products on the shelf for sale. We bake fresh breads on Tuesdays and
Fridays during the winter, more often during the summer months. We offer seven
varieties of rolled, flavor breads, whole wheat or multi-grain, rye, sourdough,
and our excellent crusty French Country bread. On weekends, we add pastries to
the bakery case, including tarts, scones, cookies, pies, coffee cakes and more!
