The U.S. Climate Emergency Council is a nonprofit organization dedicated to
rigorous grassroots action in the fight to stop global warming and promote a
clean energy future.
Friday there will be a major rally at 12 noon, on the
day when Bush is speaking inside the State Dept. We have the grassy area
between D & E Streets at Virginia Avenue, on the northeast side of the State
Department, reserved for this event. There will be speakers, including Van Jones
of the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, music and theatre.
