Each animal brought to the Society is given a physical examination, nourishing
food, fresh water, and a warm, clean, safe, comfortable place to stay. There is
a separate grooming room for the shelter animals. Volunteers frequently help by
taking dogs for walks, playing with the cats, and otherwise socializing with the
animals.
