Our patented easy-light bag uses jute fiber and wood chips as starter, without the petroleum wax or other chemical binders typical of most manufactured firelogs and charcoal briquettes. Goodwood all-wood firelogs are made with clean wood chips from forest clean-up and mill processing operations that is diverted from landfills. Due to their higher density and lower moisture content, they burn with 25-50% less smoke and ash than firewood. Goodwood mesquite charcoal uses the highest quality mesquite from Mexican government-certified environmental clean-up operations. Mesquite is preferred by chefs for its subtle sweet flavor.
