Southface is nationally recognized for work in energy efficiency, building
science and environmental sustainability. Established in 1978, Southface
promotes sustainable homes, workplaces and communities through education,
research, advocacy and technical assistance.
Southface offers Code trainings,
Home Energy Rating System certifications, residential “green” building training,
and an extensive reading library. Southface is headquartered in a Resource
Center/demonstration house with more than 100 energy efficient and
environmentally sound products, technologies and building practices.
