New Technology - Brings the cost of solar power down to $3/Watt of power generation
capacity, or 4 to 7 cents/kwh -- before tax credits. Applying Tax credits & deductions
brings the cost close to zero. Invest in a solar energy farm and gain a 100% federal
income tax “credit” plus an equal business expense deduction. The government will
essentially reimburse more than the full initial investment, producing a low risk venture
with a very high yield.
Once the power plant begins to produce, (power & revenue,
expected by November 2006) investors will be due payments by contract of 23% per year
(paid quarterly).
One can invest $9000 (minimum) & gain $9000 (100%) Federal Tax
“Credit,” plus a $9000 deduction, (realizing a return of 115 to 135% from the tax benefits
alone) plus earn 23% ($2,100) per year, for 6 years – even though the principle investment
is returned earlier (depending on tax liability).
