From its inception in 1964 to the present, the S.P.C.A. has grown into a
facility which offers many services for homeless and abused animals. Cats and
dogs come to us in every condition; some starved, some battered, some hopeless
and in despair. Each one in our care is treated with love and kindness to better
enable them to regain their trust in mankind. Toward this end, we carefully
screen potential adopters, making every effort to ensure that the animals are
with persons who truly want them and will properly care for them.
