Rediscovering Nature's Gifts: Quality Natrual Foods for Daily Living
Friday,
April 20, 7:00 pm -- A talk/discussion on quality ingredients, including oils
(which to use), quality dairy (raw vs. pateurized), grains (whole or refined),
beans, soy (yeah or nay), seaweeds and seasonal vegetables. ($10 donation)
Saturday, April 21, 1 - 4 pm -- Vegetarian Cooking Workshop
Sunday, April 22, 1
- 4 pm -- Vegetarian Cooking Workshop
$30 each workshop, includes hands on
instruction, recipes to take home and a meal to enjoy afterwards.
Conducted
by Chef Daniel Casbarro, graduate of the Chef Training Program of the Natural
Gourmet Institute of Health and Culinary Arts in Manhattan. Resident chef at the
Sivananda Yoga Ashram in Grass Valley, CA. Chef Daniel also has a degree in
Integrative Studies and Sustainable Agriculture from Prescott University in
Arizona.
