Caring for critters of all kinds is our primary passion. It is truly a heartwarming
experience. Watching animals of different kinds freely intermingle, sometimes frolicking
and playing, captures a viewers rapt attention. It's difficult to describe the feeling
realized in being able to walk amongst a yak herd and pet or groom one with complete ease.
The only time a yak cow will not allow such attention is when it has a young calf.
Originating in Tibet, yaks are very rare in North America. They are beautiful, mild
mannered animals with the ability to adapt to virtually any climate or terrain. Their
wool is the second finest in the world. They respect standard four foot fencing and
easily mingle with cattle, horses, or donkeys
