Our products range from screen-printing to embroidery, garment design and much
more. SanSegal has developed from the ground up our Green Brand clothing line.
We started with a 75/25 Recycled cotton T-shirt and are now in the process of
producing a 65/35 100% recycled tee. Green Brand is Environmentally Friendly
Apparel made from recycled cotton fabric. The cotton comes from pre-consumer
clippings from cut and sew facilities that otherwise would be dumped into our
landfills. Recycled cotton doesn’t need to be dyed. There are no chemicals or
liquids of any kind used in its process. All of the remnants are chopped and
mulched until they are broken down to their original short staple fibers and
then put into color groupings used in a patented blending system for consistent
shade matching. They are then blended with virgin acrylic and/or polyester to
achieve a smooth gentle feel and the strength for the carding process. After the
carding process the fiber is spun into yarn and is now ready for knitting.
