The Sacramento County Business Environmental Resource Center (BERC) has launched
the Sacramento Sustainable Business Program (SSB).
The SSB promotes and
encourages businesses, organizations, and government facilities in the
Sacramento area to: Conserve Energy, Reduce Waste and Pollution, Recycle and
Purchase Recycled Products, and Implement “Green Building” measures.
Participating businesses and programs will receive: Recognition at BERC 2007
awards ceremony, Free marketing on BERC’s website, and Free marketing at
community events.
Recently certified sustainable businesses include
Mechanics Bank, Café Bernardo, Mogavero Notestine Associates, MFDB Architects,
Inc., and REI - Roseville, Sacramento, and Folsom locations.
