We were just a family owned and operated farm until 2002 when we became a
Certified Organic farm. We found that one of the largest obstacles that faced
farmers in our area was that there was no where they could take their certified
organic grain at harvest for storage. We then got the opportunity to purchase a
vacant grain elevator in 2007. After much clean up, a few minor repairs and
upgrading the 45� beam scale to an above ground 70�
digital certified scale we
where operational for the 2007
harvest season. Since, we have added more bin
storage and added an outdoor pit to unload semis. The second obstacle for
farmers was the paperwork this is where Rebecca started the Advisory/
Secretarial Service. She does much of the work and helps the farmer get on the
right track for keeping the appropriate records. We have also started custom
organic feed mixing, grinding and pelleting. We carry poutlry,sheep,goat,swine
and cattle feeds. We also carry organic supplies and animal health supplies.
