RESTORED BYDESIGN is a green artisan company dedicated to creating one of a kind and limited edition eco fashion jewelry and lifestyle accessories handmade inAmerica.

MISSION;

To create a unique and inspiring design studio and store with an exciting shopping experience , not just to purchase handmade one of a kind pieces , but also to participate in the stewardship of preserving the art of creating by hand inAmerica.

Restored by Design showcases quality, one-of-a kind, and limited edition jewelry, accessories, apparel and home décor from local artisans, and designers with the emphasis on sustainable design, preserving our most precious resources.The added value is the low carbon impact to the environment.

Founded in 2010, by Martha Jackson, Restored by Design creates unique fashion jewelry, and accessories from  “green resources”; 75%  from bygone parts and industry excesses - such as semi-precious beads, glass,  resin, wood, shell, and a variety of natural materials, 15% signature designed pieces, e.g.- castings made from recycled metal, and handpainted epoxy glazed natural flowers,  and at least 10% vintage collected treasures and pre-loved found objects, organic materials, and more.The fun is the quest for the materials,AND  creating each piece! It’s all in the mix, an eclectic bohemian style with a feminine twist.

At Restored by Design, we restore life by design, the premise is RECLAIMING, REINVENTING, RE-USING, RECYCLING,  UPCYCLING,TRANSFORMING,  and RESTORING FASHION STYLE through creative design.

Production is LIMITED & LOCAL, predominantly HANDMADE.

THE GOAL:

Afull time successful “green” business offering an alternative to Chinese made products, through e-commerce, special trunk shows, select shows, and soon to come STUDIO/ STORE.This has been my lifelong dream.

Allow me to introduce myself, Martha Jackson, founder, primary designer, and CEO of Restored

By Design. I have a solid background career in design in the fashion jewelry industry.

I am passionate about fashion and creating a valuable and meaningful life. I love to live “wide”, fulfilling life to the fullest every day. Pursuing  joy is important! I love to create with color, textures, patterns, and a mix of materials. Perfection is in the beauty of flowers and nature. In my small way, I strive to give back by inspiring others and contributing to saving the world!!!!
