Our hemp products (most of which are unique to us) are made from European hemp
that is organically grown without chemicals or pesticides of any kind. In fact,
in 2004 Rawganique debuted the world's first hemp clothing and home products
made from certified organic European hemp. In 2007, Rawganique.com debuted the
world's first 100% organic European hemp knit. We only use warm water and
mechanical combing to soften our hemp fiber per heritage traditional methods,
whereas most Chinese hemp fibers are chemically softened with acids and other
toxic substances.
Our hemp products are made in USA, Canada, Europe, and
Thailand to ensure sweatshop-free, fair labor conditions. Many China-made hemp
products are made under unfair sweatshop labor conditions. We make most of the
1,000+ eco products we carry and so our organic cotton, linen, and hemp products
are unique to us. Our products are all PVC-free for the sake of the environment
and human health.
