Radiant Hen Publishing is located in rural Vermont. We specialize in children's
picture books that promote sustainable living/agriculture through whimsical
stories and vivid artwork. Our illustrated chapter books for older kids (up to
middle school) are of interest to anyone, but do focus on Vermont people and
places. We have teachers' resources for our picture books and chapter books for
people interested in using the books as classroom, home-school, or agricultural
education tools.
Our books have won Moonbeam Children's Book Awards and have
received praise from Nell Newman of Newman's Own Organics, "Rural Heritage"
magazine, "Farming" magazine, Animal Welfare Approved, Vermont's "Green Living"
magazine, "Vermont Magazine" and others.
