toothbrush handle is made from recycled wood fiber or flax mixed with post consumer
plastic. Replaceable heads save 80% of the material consumed by standard toothbrushes.
Original toothbrush handle is cellulose, made from sustainable yield forest and lasts up
to 3 times longer than a standard toothbrush. Lightweight packaging saves thousands of
gallons of oil yearly.
Toothbrushes cannot be placed into curbside recycling systems,
because of the metal staples that hold the bristles. They can only be recycled back to
the originating factory - this consumes the equivalent to making a new brush.
