Prairie Winds Farm provides a unique farm and wildlife habitat experience for
the individual, groups and families. We educate and entertain people while
producing and selling local farm products in a way that protects and preserves
our rural heritage.
Visitors connect with animals, nature and each other in a
real, unstaged way. Expect direct contact with animals and soil and learn
skills for sustainable food production.
Activities include: holding newborn
lambs, kids, chicks; gathering eggs, vegetables, berries; private or guided
nature hike; bird watching & pond fishing; gardening, canning, beekeeping &
honey tasting; animal care, feeding, interaction; horse drawn wagon, sleigh &
pony rides; Noah’s Ark Today educational program; crafts including fiber arts
and natural cosmetics. Group visits are by appointment. The cost is $3/person,
minimum 10, maximum 30. We offer farm camp for kids ages 8-12 in summer. All
