Pouch was created out of a need that I and so many others had. I would place my
dog Puffy in my Beach Cruisers’ basket and head out on my bike to run small
errands. Ridding with Puffy was a way for me lower my carbon footprint, get him
outside for longer, more then his usual 15-20 minute walk, and it provided an
alternative way for me to get some exercise. I created Pouch because I used to
put bulky towels on the bottom of the bike basket to pad Puffy’s ride, but I
quickly realized there was no room for my dog, wallet, keys, phone and bag. The
thin yet plush Sherpa pad I placed at the bottom, along with the Pouch liner,
provided Puffy a comfortable ride and looked great. I soon added pockets to
place my small items like my wallet, keys, and phone. Shortly there after sprung
another idea. How great would Pouch be if I could use it as a bag too? I no
longer had to carry another bag or backpack.
