We cultivate 14 acres of mixed organic vegetables, strawberries, and eggs, some
of which are sold at farmers' markets, some through a wholesaler, and some to
restaurants. We grow our produce with respect for the natural seasons, and do
not attempt to extend the growing season using plastic coldframes, row covers,
or plastic mulch. Two-thirds of the farm's electrical demand is provided by
on-site solar electric panels, as part of a long range plan to meet all our
energy needs through clean, renewable methods. We are striving to create an
agriculture capable of feeding humanity far into the future.
