Patagonia on First Avenue: Committed to Sustainable Fibers and the Environment,
Patagonia is an environmentally conscious clothing company that makes outdoor
clothing. We use 100% organic cotton in our cotton clothing and have many hemp
products. Our environmental grants program donates one percent of sales or 10
percent of pre-tax profits - whichever is more - to innovative, grassroots
environmental groups overlooked or rejected by other corporate donors. We fund
activists who take radical and strategic steps to protect habitat, wilderness
and biodiversity.
