Certified USDA Organic Avacados, Grapefruit, Lemons, Oranges - The Pala Indian
Tribe owns and operates a 90-acre avocado grove on the south end of the Pala
Reservation, which has been producing nearly one million pounds of avocados
since 1989. The grove is managed by two tribal members, and a crew of over 40
seasonal employees, who help harvest the avocados three times each year. The
produce is sent to nearby packing houses where the avocados are sold.
