OnEarth Australia's is the first company in Australia to manufacture an environmentally
friendly funeral casket made form 100% recycled cardboard. Our caskets are made from
patented honeycomb cardboard which provides an extremely strong yet light-weight casket.
Our funeral caskets also adhere to the guidelines for use of cardboard coffins developed
by the Australian funeral industry.
Our innovative casket design is guaranteed NOT to
distort or collapse when subjected to the kind of handling required by the funeral
industry (including handling when damp).
The cardboard used in OnEarth's caskets is
readily biodegradable and can therefore be regarded as 'environmentally friendly' and
suitable for green funerals.
Their unique design and attractive wood-grain finish would
not be out of place in the most traditional of funerals. Yet, they say that you care about
the environment – right up to the end.
