Old Texas Floors offers longleaf pine that has been reclaimed from vintage Texas
buildings and freshly milled into tongue and groove hardwood flooring. This
beautiful, durable, eco-friendly, unfinished hardwood pine flooring is available
in widths of 3”, 5”, and 7” at an exceptional price of $4 to $5 per square foot.
This wood is Antique longleaf pine that has been reclaimed, de-nailed, then
re-milled as wide plank hardwood flooring. Old Texas Floors’ wood comes from old
Texas homes and other old Texas buildings scheduled for demolition. Most of this
wood was milled around a hundred years ago from trees that were already hundreds
of years old at that time. Much of the wood was originally used as structural
lumber rather than flooring. Your 7” wide floor board might come from an 8” beam
that held up a home from the turn of the century—the 20th century, that is.
Reclaiming the wood means that no new trees are lost to create your flooring.
