Green building! We are an eco-friendly architecture firm, OMD- Office of Mobile Design.
Located in the Venice area of Los Angeles, we specialize in building modern prefabricated,
portable, modular homes out of recycled and natural materials. Energy efficient,
eco-friendly and sustainable, these prefabs are customized to meet your needs. A
full-service architectural firm, we will coordinate all aspects of the construction
process, including permitting, engineering and site preparation. If you are in Venice,
check out the OMD Prefab ShowHouse at 1650 Abbott Kinney. The Prefab ShowHouse includes
eco-friendly materials such as bamboo and coconut palm flooring, Kirei panels made from
Japanese Sorghum plants and non-toxic Koskipanels. We also utilize some newer technologies
such as tankless water heaters, radiant electric heaters, translucent polycarbonate
sheets, and an iPort integrated sound system.
