The Oconee Regional Humane Society is located at Lake Oconee Georgia, between
Greensboro and Eatonton (85 miles East of Atlanta Off of I 20). We rescue dogs
and cats from the county animal control shelters and place them in foster homes,
where they are loved, socialized, and temperament tested. This allows us to
identify their special needs so we can place them in the best environment
possible. All adoptions are guaranteed and we will accept any animal back in
our adoption program if the adoption doesn't work out. For this reason we prefer
not to adopt our foster animals outside the State of Georgi
