Effective
environmentalism is reliant on scientific data. The Society coordinates and
funds research projects the results of which make a compelling case for
ecosystem conservation. We also
educate the public about ocean issues, and
offer hands-on opportunities to make a positive contribution to environmental
protection through volunteerism.
