Without healthy functioning ecosystems, marine fish and wildlife cannot survive.
For more than two decades, the Center for Marine Conservation has led a
broad-based campaign to protect our precious coasts and offshore waters. These
diverse habitats -- including tidepools, estuaries, coral reefs, sea grass
meadows, rocky coasts, sandy beaches, river deltas, and kelp and mangrove
forests--support a cornucopia of marine life. CMC's Marine Ecosystem Protection
program employs science, citizen action, and legislative and administrative
advocacy to protect special marine places such as the Florida Keys, the central
CA Coast, and more.
