Our wool and fiber shop features yarn from our own flock of Cormo and Shetland
sheep, llama, alpaca, lamaca/lapacac (cross between llamas and alpacas), and
goats. The wool is blended and spun at New England spinneries into 2 and 4 ounce
skeins. The animals are grown & raised without the use of hormones and
antibiotics. 90% of the animal feed is grown by us and is certified organic. Our
animals have access to green food throughout the year. From May to early
November, they have access to pasturage along with the fermented grass and corn
silage that is produced on our farm. As a certified producer of organic milk, we
do not use antibiotics or hormones on our cows. We utilize homeopathic methods
in caring for them, and we maintain as stress free of an environment as possible
for the animals. Our Tea House is open from the middle of May to the middle of
October.
