I have recently watched the Food Inc. movie and we have made several new changes
to buying more locally raised and manufactured product to sell in our store.
We're reaching out to small farms locally to offer to sell there grass fed and
organic fresh meats. About 70% of our dry goods are from independently owned
small local businesses.
With the growing like minded customers I plan on
being self sufficient in purchasing only fresh meats from Maryland, Del., Va.
and Pa. many of these products are delivered directly to us form local vendors
or farmers.
Our dairy products and eggs are currently cming from a small
dairy farm in Federalsburg , Md.
