Much of our menu consists of fair trade, organically grown coffees and we offer
a large loose leaf tea selection. We have frappes, blended cremes, espresso
drinks, hot chocolate, assorted bagels and pastries. We also offer free wifi. We
are located in the Grandfather Center with easy access to Grandfather Mountain,
Banner Elk, and two of the best ski resorts in the area, Sugar Mountain and
Beech Mountain. Mountain Grounds is a Western North Carolina style lodge coffee
shop which offers a cozy atmosphere. After a long day of work, hiking, skiing,
or shopping, we invite you to stop in and enjoy your favorite cup of coffee or
tea while sitting by our fireplace.
