At Mount Airy Farm we raise beef in a clean and healthy environment free of
hormones,antibiotics, and feed additives. Our cattle range free on grass
pastures and are fed Certified Organic Grain to ensure tenderness and flavor.
Mount Airy Farm raises only the highest quality Angus cattle, ensuring the most
tender and flavorful meat avalible. We are certified Organic by the Quality
Certification Services (a USDA National Organic Program). A side of beef yields
about 250 pounds of packaged meat. Approximately half of this can be configured
as steaks and/ or roasts, and the rest can be cut into hamburger and stew beef.
It will be cut to your specifications, including steak thickness, roast size,
and packaging. A side of beef fills about six milk crates, to give you an idea
of the space needed.
Because you are buying directly off the farm, you will
save substantially over grocery store prices. We sell whole and half beefs as
well as feeder calves.
