We are a small Indiana-based non-profit corporation. We are a 501c3 charity.
Our mission is
...to promote social and economic justice for people in
Guatemala and Latin America by selling and marketing their handcrafts in a just
and direct manner.
...to educate consumers about the importance of purchasing
fairly traded products which support living wages and healthy working
conditions.
...to provide information about fair trade craft producer's
history, culture and living conditions, in order to enhance cross-cultural
understanding and respect between consumers and communities in the developing
world.
...to help fund orphanages and other welfare organizations working in
Guatemala and Latin America through the sale of fair trade Guatemalan crafts.
...to expand and redefine our program from time to time as necessary to meet the
continuing needs of low income craft producers and welfare organizations
operating in Guatemala and Latin America.
