Traditional methods of garment care and cleaning use perc and other hydrocarbon petroleum based chemicals that have shown to degrade the environment and human health. The most reliable and green alternative has been wet cleaning methods that were developed through a cooperative effort between German appliance manufacturer Miele and detergent manufacturer Kreussler. The results render clothing that not only is clean but also smells clean as no chemical residues remain as is often the case with other processes associated with other cleaning methods.
