The objective of MFOA is to coalesce animal advocates and associations in Maine
in order to take more effective action on issues that affect animals. As a
coalition, Maine Friends of Animals is unique in that it creates a united
statewide organization of individuals that works together to promote animal
protection. Through legislative action, education and advocacy, Maine Friends of
Animals is dedicated to ending animal cruelty and promoting the humane
