The MSPCA Western New England is part of the statewide non-profit, Massachusetts
Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. We receive NO federal, state,
or city government funding. We also do NOT receive funding from any other
humane organizations, including the ASPCA and HSUS. Unlike the ASPCA and HSUS,
we take in thousands of unwanted animals each year. Our Springfield facility
alone takes in more than 8,000 animals each year. Please see our website for
