Ten years ago, the Wrights decided to raise their own food, using the best
possible methods, in response to an allergy problem. Today, they intensively
graze and manage 65 acres (40 owned and 25 leased). Their product offerings are
grass-fed lamb, beef and goat plus pastured pork and poultry (chicken, turkey
and laying hens). "Our mission is to produce great tasting, high-quality,
wholesome food with only the finest ingredients – grass, sunshine, clean water,
kelp and minerals – the inputs these animals thrive on," says Andy. "Our pork
and poultry receive freshly ground and sprouted certified organic grains in
addition to pasture. You can taste the difference." The farm also brings
hand-dyed wool from its Romney and Corriedale sheep to Market.
