LRHS is a non-profit animal shelter providing temporary space for unwanted, abused, and
neglected domestic animals. Euthanasia is never performed for population control. We house
cats, dogs, rabbits, and guinea pigs. We seek loving forever homes for our shelter
animals. We offer humane education, outreach, and animal behavior training programs. Our
newsletter, Pet-Wise Press, is published four times a year. Visit our website for
